Martyn Barrow Page About the author...
Hi, I'm Martyn who authored these pages. I'm a computer programmer by trade, married, aged 37 at the time of writing. Just so you don't get the wrong idea, I didn't discover all this on my own. Indeed, "what do you have that you did not receive ?" (I Corinthians 4:7).

Thanks therefore to ...
There are many christians whose work I have benefitted from, directly or indirectly, accumulating understanding over twenty years or so (except for a break of 4 years). Some of these christian brothers have been British, some from Europe, China and America, some from this century, some from last century. Through their faithfulness in making known what they had seen of the riches of Christ and His design for the Church, I have been enabled by the Lord to make this presentation of the Tabernacle to you. One book which has been of particular help has been "Tent of His Splendour" by A.J.Flack, reprinted in 1995, which I recommend for further study.

Of course, words without pictures are hard to understand. (Perhaps that's one reason why God had His people in Exodus build Him a Tabernacle, so they could see.) I am so thankful to the Lord for the model of the Tabernacle that was built in summer 1995, from which almost all of the photographs were taken. Brothers and sisters from the church in Geneva carried out much research, did a lot of preparation, and then supervised young people from several parts of Europe to actually fabricate the pieces and build the model. Photographs of some of the furnishings of the Tabernacle are by kind permission of Chapter Two in London. Thank the Lord for their booklet "House of Gold", of which more than one million copies have now been distributed.

All of those whose work is represented cumulatively here join in saying:

"To God who is able to do superabundantly beyond all that we ask or think,
according to His power operating in us,
to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations and for ever and ever" (Ephesians 3:20-21).
