Mrs Norma Stokes Norma is a retired primary school teacher and, during her later years of teaching, specialised in special-needs education. She still teaches handicrafts at Church. She tries 'very hard not to be a teacher' when leading worship, though she is certainly very good at involving children in services. Norma is determined that the Gospel is made relevant to the problems of today: for her, that is what the Gospel is about! |

Mr Rod Stokes Rod is a retired computer analyst / programmer, though his next major project is early retirement. He plays the guitar and writes songs and short plays from time to time, but he does not believe that a preacher should be an 'entertainer'; rather, he sees a preacher as enabling and encouraging and not just presenting a finished work to the congregation. He firmly believes in preparation, but if the Holy Spirit wishes to make a few minor or even major changes then that is fine. |
