Have you ever read the back of a book first?   Just to see how it all ends?   Everyone has a desire to know, his or her future.   Many make plans for their retirement; many buy all kinds of insurance, health, home, car, life and some save back money for that rainy day to insure their future

 Many though never plan for divorce. When we meet Mr. Right we don’t plan on anything other than happily ever after.

 Did you know in an Islamic marriage they make plans for divorce?   As Christians we know God hates divorce, and nowhere in the Bible will you find a prenuptial agreement.

 Can you imagine...after God made Eve He turned to Adam and said I made her for you to be your help-mate, but just in case you don’t like her...Here’s the deal! Don’t think so!  God Almighty’s ways are perfect, and so was, and is, His plan for marriage.

 ISLAMIC:

I command you to treat women kindly. Woman has been created from a rib (the rib is crooked), and the most crooked part of the rib is the upper region. If you try to make it straight you will break it, and if you leave it as it is, it will remain curved. So treat women kindly." by Al-Bukhari     (18)

 What a contrast to the Bible!

Divorce is rising In Islam the Muslims will tell you that divorce is very low, they don’t tell you why: Three main reasons:

1) Marriage is not based on love, but rather it is a contract  
2) The Husband can have at least four wives
3) The Women do not divorce the Husband

1) The marriage contract, like most of the thoughts on women, centers on the sexual part of the relationship.    A man is expected to take care of his wife as far as providing her with food, clothing, shelter, etc.   A woman is expected to obey and sexually submit herself to her husband whenever he wishes it no matter what her age or circumstance. The husband only has to provide for the wife as long as she is able to give him what he wants when ever and where ever he wants it.                                 

"The marriage contract is designed by the legislator so that the husband may benefit from the sexual organ of the woman and the rest of her body for the purpose of pleasure. As such the husband owns by the marriage contract, this exclusive benefit." (112)

 "The accepted understanding in the different schools of jurisprudence, is that what has been contracted in marriage is for the benefit of the man from the woman, no the opposite. The followers of Imam Malik declares the marriage contract is a contract of ownership of benefit of the sexual organ of the woman and the rest of her body."

 The followers of Imam Shafi'i said: "The most accepted view is that what is been contracted upon is the woman, that is the benefit derived from her sexual organ. Others said, "What has been contracted is both the man and the woman. So according to the first opinion the wife can not demand sex from her husband because it is his right (not hers), and according to the second opinion she can demand to have sex with him."

The followers of Imam Abu Hanifa said: "The right of the sexual pleasures belongs to the man, no the woman, by that it is meant that the man has the right to force the woman to gratify himself sexually. She on the other hand does not have the right to force him to have sex with her except once (in a lifetime). But he must, from a religious point of view, have sex with her to protect her from     being morally corrupt."(113)       (23)

 2) MORE THAN ONE WIFE:

It is not unusual for a man to have more than one wife.   In fact, he can have up to four wives at one time. Mohammed had many wives at one time, which even included a small girl.

 A man may marry up to four wives at one time.  "Marry women of your choice, two, or three, or four."   (Surah 4:3)

 Volume 4, page 89

 "For if a man purchases a slave girl, the purchase contract includes his right to have sex with her . " This contract is primarily to own her and secondarily to enjoy her sexually."

 Volume 2, page 33

Since among Arabs passion is an overpowering aspect of their nature, the need of their pious men to have sex has been found to be the more intense.   And for the purpose of emptying the hearts to the worship of God they have been allowed to have sex with women slaves if at some time they should fear that this passion will them to commit adultery.   Though it is true that such action could lead to the birth of a child that will be a slave, which is a form of destruction...yet enslaving a child is a lighter offense than the destruction of religious belief.   For enslaving the new born is a temporary thing but by committing adulteryeternity is lost.”

Did you know that if a woman makes Jesus her Lord...She could be divorced?

  Volume 7, Book 63, Number 209: Narrated Nafi ' 22)

Whenever Ibn "Umar was asked about marrying a Christian lady or a Jewess, he would say: "Allah has made it unlawful for the believers to marry ladies who ascribe partners in worship to Allah, and I do not know of a greater thing, as regards to ascribing partners in worship, etc., to Allah, than that a lady should say that Jesus is her Lord although he is just one of Allah's slaves."

 Divorce is at an all time High!  Well over one half of all marriages will end in a divorce...even Christian marriages!

 JESUS IS MY LORD, JESUS IS MY LORD, JESUS IS MY LORD…                                                               

3) Women are considered to be simple minded and worthless. Islam allows a man to divorce his wife by oral announcement; the wife has no such right. if a man states, "I divorce you", three times to his wife's face, he considers himself legally divorced. Also, a woman is not entitled to any of the husband's possessions, including his children.

 Islam allows a man to divorce his wife by oral announcement; the wife has no such right. "...Divorce is permissible twice.' (Surah 2:229)

 When a husband has pronounced divorce three times on his wife, she then may not lawfully remarry her husband until she has married and been divorced by another man (including having sexual intercourse with him). "...So if a husband divorces his wife he cannot after that, remarry her until after she has married another husband, and he has divorced her." (Surah 2:230)

 "As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them, refuse to share their beds, beat them..." (Surah 4:34)

 Should you survive your Muslim husband, and his wealth is in an Islamic country, the Islamic law will apply. The wife who has not converted to Islam gets nothing. The wife who has converted to Islam gets very little. According to the Qur'an a wife does not   inherit all her husband’s wealth.

 "In what ye leave, their (wives) share is a fourth if you leave no children; but if you leave a child, they (wives) get an eighth; after payment of legacies and debts." ( Surah 4:12)
