(When things happened with CenterWeb)

Here's a brief log of how CenterWeb started, how it's progressed, and where we are now.

• August 1997: An idea comes up... lots of e-mails are sent around. First pages are designed.
• August 11 1997: http://www.domini.org/centerweb/ is up and running. First files are uploaded.
• August 12 1997: CenterWeb receives its first 3 visitors.
• October 27 1997: CenterWeb is added to Excite, Infoseek, and Altavista.
• January 1998: On average, 4 visitors to CenterWeb each day.
• February 1998: Site redesigned. Advice Line added.
• March 3 1998: CenterWeb gains a listing on Yahoo! Hits increase. Average of 1 advice request every 2 weeks.
• April 1998: Average of 10 hits per day. CenterWeb becomes listed on Snap.com
• November 1998: Average of 15 hits per day. Site redesign begins.
• January 1999: Site redesign continues. Average of 15+ (sometimes 20+) hits per day. Average of 3 advice requests per week. Around 450 visitors per month.
• 30 January 1999: New site design is finally in place.
• 31 March 1999: First advice topics added to advice section.
• October 2000: next generation site design begins. Approximately 45 different visitors per day (approximate average of 1300 per month, i.e. 15000 per year).
• 17 February 2001: next generation site in place.
